Mahaneela
Mahaneela is a photographer and director based in Brooklyn. Coming from a diverse cultural background, Mahaneela is inspired by her Ghanian, Indian and Jamaican ancestry. Her work explores themes of diasporic history, music and culture, with a focus on celebrating the beauty of Black and brown folk through her bright, colorful gaze.
