Born in the North and raised in the South, his work shows a strength, intimacy, and vulnerability that is exuded throughout his mediums. Driven by rejecting stereotypes of people’s preconceived gaze of Blackness, he strives to show the tribe he represents in a powerful God-given and driven light.
